What Is a Temperature Blanket?A temperature blanket, quilt, or scarf is a project where each day's temperature is represented by a specific color or fabric swatch. Set Parameters

Work on two projects at once
Enter location, temp range, and increment. Choose whether to check off or delete completed rows. Select date range or full past year.

Set Colors or Swatches

Select a color for each temp range. Switch to photos/images mode to upload fabric swatch images for quilts or other temp projects.

Temperature Results

Tap the Temperatures tab to see high/low historical temperatures for each day plus their color associations and the weather icon for that date.Delete each row as you complete that day's work or use checkmarks by changing mode in Settings.

A. Temp Blanket Pro includes support for dates going back 365 days from today. It also allows you to fetch full previous years going back to 2022. You can track 2 projects at once, select more granular temp increments, display wind speeds in iPad version, use the photos mode for fabric swatches, and use the weather fetch catch-up feature.Q. Why do historical full years only go back to 2022?
A. This is a limitation of Apple's WeatherKit which the app uses to look up temps for any location worldwide. If you are interested in older years you may want to contact Apple and request they open up their API to older date ranges.Q. Can I use this app for any temperature project?
A. Yes. Any project where you need to track daily historical high and or low temps along with color codes for each, will benefit from Temp Blanket.Q. How does the photos/images mode work for fabric swatches?
A. Simply go to the Colors tab and switch it at top left to Photos mode. Then import the number of images needed for each of your temp ranges. The app will then track those images for the found temps and display them next to the temps in the Temperatures tab.
